What Discovery Points, Quest Lines, and Events Mean
A Discovery Point, quest line, and Event are related but not interchangeable. A Discovery Point is a place a ship can visit to explore a fog-covered sea region. That discovery can start or expose the area's quest and event flow. A quest line organizes that progression, while an Event is an individual encounter within the flow.
Reach a Discovery Point Through the Fog
Choose a Discovery Point associated with a fog-covered region and send a ship to it. Reaching the point explores the region and can reveal or begin its related quest and event flow.
Prepare a Ship for the Event
Check the Event's suggested ship Tier and Class before entering. Only one ship can enter an Event at a time, so choose the ship you want to commit to that encounter.
Monitor Health, Crew, and Objectives
Events proceed through turns and provide objectives. During the encounter, follow those objectives while monitoring the participating ship's Health and Crew.
Evidence Limit: Do Not Guess Event Choices
This guide does not provide fixed answers for individual event choices. Use the objectives and suggested ship Tier and Class shown for the Event, then evaluate the ship's current Health and Crew as the encounter proceeds.
